APRS

APRS stands for Automatic Packet Reporting System. With a radio, a GPS, and a tracker/TNC to beacon your position any APRS digipeaters or other stations that can hear the transmission.

APRS Digipeaters

The Sinbad Desert Amateur Radio Club sponsors many APRS digipeaters throughout the area on the standard frequency of 144.390 MHz with a weather station also sponsored. These digipeaters are located at the Cedar Mountain, Star Point, and Horn Mountain radio sites. The weather station is located in Castle Dale.
